The Story Behind CIC
CIC Fingerprinting is the registered business name of Canada Immigration Consulting Ltd. The name “CIC” comes directly from the initials of our company name:
C - Canada
I - Immigration
C - Consulting
Since 1994, Canada Immigration Consulting Ltd. has provided professional Canadian immigration services, including matters involving Canadian and Quebec immigration law.
Over the years, our clients, including many who came to us for fingerprinting services, naturally shortened our company name to simply “CIC.”
They kept calling us CIC and somewhere along the way, the name simply stuck.
For more than three decades, CIC became the familiar name our clients associated with our company and services.
That long-standing name eventually became official with the registration of CIC Fingerprinting as a business name of Canada Immigration Consulting Ltd., preserving the identity our clients had already given us while clearly representing our specialized fingerprinting services today.
